UKS Whodunnit? Cyber Crop

I had a great weekend taking part in the UKS Whodunnit? Cyber Crop. I've joined in with 4 or 5 now, but this one was the most productive! I managed to clock up 830 points, and was part of the winning team - The CSIs :)

Thanks have to go to everyone who made the weekend happen - but especially to ScrappyBunny who pulls everything together, and doesn't sleep for the entire weekend!

Here are the results of my weekend!

We're in Woman Alive Magazine!

Before Christmas, I was contacted by a journalist, Tracey Spires, who was writing an article for Woman Alive Magazine about sharing passions. She wanted to use my association with FSUK as one of her case studies - I was delighted to help.

Well, I've just found out that the article is in this month's issue - and also on the Woman Alive Website. I can't wait to see the article in print, as there are also photographs which don't appear on the website, but Tracy did a great job on the article.

UKS Team Logo

I've been playing around with a possible logo for my team on UKScrappers. So, teamies...... what do you think??

I've also been getting ready for the Whodunnit Cyber Crop on UKS this weekend. Not sure how much I'll get done, but it's always good fun, and I'll download all the classes even if I need to do some of them after the weekend.
Right - off to tidy the dining room! Watch this space for more creations!

Yaaaayyyyyy - we've got snow!

Thankfully, the schools have been closed today, so I didn't have to tackle the slippery hill - the boys are pleased as they've been able to play out in the garden in the snow. Not sure the dog was too happy about that though.

Dad sent over a photo of Parker after his morning walk - SOOOOOO funny!

Salt Faith Challenge - Self Control

I finished my layout for the Salt Faith Challenge Blog today on Self-Control - not something I'm known to possess in any great quantity.

Feeling like poo today - I've managed to catch the cold/flu/lurgy bug which is doing the rounds, and was up half the night. Went back to bed around 5am to find James lying in my place :( He was REALLY hot, and Joe was complaining of a sore throat last night, so kept them both off school today. Not sure that was such a good idea as I feel even worse :( .... but then Mum's aren't allowed to be ill, are we??? Can't wait for Ian to get home!

Pencil Lines Sketch 117

So, here's my first attempt at a Pencil Lines Sketch Challenge - the journalling reads "not the most flattering of photographs, but at least now I know what colours suit me!"

Mum and I had a great time with our Christmas Pressies - a Colour Analysis with Marcia. I learnt a lot about which colours suit me and which don't, but it was a bit wierd looking at myself in a mirror for two hours!

Polly Craft Monday Challenge #6

Here's my design for the challenge at - I'm so glad I found this one, as I now have another site to shop from, and already I'm in love! The designs are gorgeous, and very reasonable prices too.

The image is a download from and is mounted on foam pads. The challenge was to use hand doodles on the card.

Thanks for a great challenge, and I can't wait for the next one!

Dutch Dare Card Challenge #30

OK - it's a day for firsts :D Here is my first Card Blog Challenge entry, for a challenge set on

The challenge was to create a card using at least 3 triangles - as you can see, I put two of mine inside my card. I've even got a head start on this year's Christmas cards lol. Thanks for the challenge ladies!
I've been playing with my new Ultimate Pro board today - and had great fun.

Here are a couple of piccies of my first Pop-Out Cards - hope you like them!

It's HERE!

OK - the new FSUK Website is now live :D

There is also a call out for the FSUK Design Team 2009 - so, if you fancy putting yourself forward as a member of the DT, then register for the forum and check out the post in Info For Members. All the requirements are on there, and the deadline is 20th January 2009.

I'm looking forward to doing lots of crafting now that my Christmas Pressie has arrived! Ian & I decided that this year our Christmas money was going to be spent on US - not the kids, not the house ...... US! So, I ordered myself a Crafters Companion Ultimate Pro, which arrived yesterday. I promply got to playing with it - and created a card for James' birthday (which was yesterday). I'll post a piccie shortly - when I find the camera lol.

All I need now are my birthday pressies, and I'll be a VERY happy, crafty bunny :D Hurry up Ellison!
